Project financials were pulled together manually, so the business could not easily see in one place how a development was tracking against plan as costs landed. For a developer running many projects at once, it was hard to see at a glance which developments were on plan and which were drifting.

Hopton built the financial reporting layer in Power BI, connecting Business Central so the numbers came directly from the system of record rather than from spreadsheets, and provided one view of each development. Power Apps tooling supports the process around the reporting.
